BELIEVE
I believe in times to come when all men will be free
to witness will in wisdom’s light , the dawn of destiny
and I believe in love and truth and God’s mercy for mankind
and that life has meaning far beyond
this shallow world’s design
And I believe in life’s rebirth and the time to
turn and tell
and when all else fails ,will see revealed ,God’s
word to wish them well
and I believe in life as such , with meaning deep and
fair
and I believe that in due course , true reason will be
shared
And I believe in promise now , the greater part to
play
and one thought that lives eternal to light the living
way
and I believe in meaning made and the hand of hope to
heal
and in the beauty born to be , the answer signed and
sealed
And I believe in friendship found , equal to the part
and I believe in all that’s meant , to make a brand
new start
and I believe in love and truth and God’s mercy
for mankind
and that life has meaning far beyond
this shallow worlds design .
